Thousands of people are expected to attend a rally to demand “justice” for those caught up in the Grenfell Tower fire.
After politicians including London mayor Sadiq Khan and Andrea Leadsom, the leader of the House of Commons, were heckled by angry locals demanding answers, there are fears that tensions could boil over at the event.
A Facebook event, Justice for Grenfell!, has been listed as taking place at 6pm outside the Department for Communities and Local Government, with more than 2,700 people said to be planning to attend.
The posting said: “At least 150 people have died in the fire at Grenfell Tower. They deserve justice. We demand answers.
