Accused Mass Killer Goh Appears In Court But Delays Plea One Goh, 48, who now has streaks of grey hair, was recently deemed by court-appointed doctors to have been restored to mental competency, which theoretically means he can now stand trial, defence lawyer David Klaus said after Goh’s hearing.

However, Klaus declined to comment on what he expects to happen at Goh’s hearing next Tuesday, such as whether a trial date will be set.

Klaus also said, “We don’t know how he’ll plead.”

Alameda County prosecutor Stacie Pettigrew declined to say anything to reporters after the hearing.

#AceNewsReport – Apr.26: A 50-year-old charity worker who was gunned down Tuesday evening while going door-to-door to collect donations for painting curbs in front of homes in Norwalk was identified as Matthew Glover Wednesday #AceNewsDesk

Charity Worker Gunned Down While Collecting Donations to Paint Curbs in Norwalk ID’d the #shooting occurred about 5:30 p.m. in the 14400 block of Dinard Avenue, according to a news released from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities have not identified the victim, but Care for the Children President Robert Henderson identified Glover as the man who was #shot.

Glover, who was collecting donations for painting addresses on curbs when he was #killed, also would deliver boxes of food to seniors during the day, Henderson said.

He described Glover as “a very likable guy.”

There, a 16-year-old girl told #police she was walking southbound on Richman Avenue when a man pulled over next to her in a 2003 tan Ford F-150 pickup truck.

The man, who stopped his car against on-coming traffic, began yelling at the teen to “get in the car” multiple times and following her as she continued to walk.

The man fled the scene after the girl became scared and took out her cell phone to place a call, #police said.

Human Remains Found At Binney Park In Old Greenwich

According to the Greenwich Police Department, at around 9:12 a.m Tuesday., what appeared to be human remains were found in Binney Park. Police said employees from the town’s Parks and Recreation Department were clearing debris in a wooded area of the park when the remains were found.

Police and a representative of the state’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner responded to the scene and the portion of the park was closed.

I’ve written in the past about passive solar heat, such as Trombe walls, solar furnaces or solar heating walls. The idea is more familiar is solar hot water systems. But did you know that solar heat and solar electricity can be combined?

Hybrid solar panels have been on the market for a while, but the most versatile option I’ve come across is from French company Systovi. I encountered them at the EcoBuild exhibition recently.
